The 13th Annies Arts Awards - Vote Online!

Dear Artist, Art Enthusiast, Arts Supporter:

Friends of the Arts will hold the 13th Annies Arts Awards 8-10pm Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, as part of the Artoberfest Kick-Off Celebration in Chico’s Downtown Plaza. The work being considered must have occurred during 2005 and/or 2006.

We would be honored if you would consider being a part of this exciting celebration. This year, we’re focusing, as usual, on the 7 disciplines of the arts—music, theatre, dance, visual arts, film & video, literature and architecture. There will be 3 awards in each of the categories, 21 award winners in all.

Friends of the Arts is hoping you can participate in a couple vital ways:

• Join us for the event which will take place from 8-10pm during the day-long performance packed Artoberfest kick-off event, Chico Palio on Saturday Sept. 29th.

• Nominate an artist or piece of work in the seven categories by visiting our website. You will be able to fill out an online form or you can mail in your ballots.

You have been sent this message because you have been identified by the City of Chico, Friends of the Arts, and other arts organizations as an arts lover, artist, enthusiast or someone else vital to our arts economy.
